The California Masonry Council (CMC), a promotional arm under the Masonry Institute of America, brought on L&Co. to develop a strategic plan to advocate for the use of masonry in commercial construction projects throughout California.
The project will culminate in a recommendation and roadmap to increase market share in the near, medium, and long term.
To shape the recommendation, L&Co. conducted a program of research and discovery across the masonry and construction industry, including the following:
Custom survey targeted to masonry contractors in CA
2-day live workshops with masonry contractors
Visits to construction tradeshows & manufacturers
One-on-one conversations with architects, engineers, project managers, academics, masons, sustainability experts, and others in the AEC community
